Hyderabad: 9.5 lakh students set to take Inter exams from tomorrow

Hyderabad: Intermediate students should be in the exam hall at 8.45 pm, 15 minutes ahead of the commencement of the exams on March 4. Students will not be allowed even a minute later than 9 am, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) said.

Students were asked to work out on the travel time to the centres and start early from home. The Board has created an app to help the students locate the exam centre. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
Talks were held with the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation to provide additional shuttle services in the city and rural areas during the time of examinations.

Candidates will not be allowed to carry mobiles, printed or written material, pagers, calculators or any electronic gadget into the examination hall. Officials on duty will also not be allowed to carry mobile phones into the hall. If students are made to sit on the floor in the examination hall, the officer concerned would be suspended, a BIE official said.

Police and revenue officials were requested to close photocopy centres near the exam centres between 9 am to 12 noon.

Students can download the hall tickets from the website tsbie.cgg.gov.in without having the necessity of securing the principal’s signature.
