Giving some relief to students, at least for a year, the Supreme Court on Monday made the National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Neet) optional for admission to under-graduate and post-graduate medical courses for 2013-14.
This clears the decks for admission to MBBS, dental and PG medical courses based on exams held by the state. The court will deliver its final verdict on Neet in the first week of July. Tickets for the state-run bus services can now be bought online on redbus.in. Tickets for buses on various routes like Bengaluru-Hyderabad, Bengaluru-Tirupati, Bengaluru-Ernakulam and Bangalore-Pune, MangaloreHyderabad, MysoreHyderabad, Hubli-Hyderabad etc. will be available.
