45,291 students to appear for ECET

Arrangements are in place for the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET-2013) being organised by JNTU on May 20. As many as 45,291 students will be taking the test at 78 centres all over the State, located under 12 regional centres. The test will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Chairman of the ECET-2013 and Vice-Chancellor of JNTUK G. Tulasi Ram Das said those coming even one minute late to write the exam would not be allowed. Candidates would have to download their hall-tickets and online application forms from the website and the duly attested documents must be submitted to the invigilator in the examination hall. Prof. Das said the preliminary key of ECET would be released on May 21 and the final key along with the result on May 28. The rank cards could be downloaded from June 3, he said. Convener of the ECET Ch. Saibabu and other officials were present.
