65% of registered aspirants appear for Group-IV exam

Complaints of discrepancy in question numbers raised
The examination for Group-IV services held on Sunday saw 65% of the registered candidates appearing for the exam.

Of the registered 4.80 lakh candidates, around 3.12 lakh candidates appeared for paper-I, general knowledge while 3.09 lakh appeared for paper-II examination.

Students at some centres complained of a discrepancy in the question papers with regard to question numbers. However, a press release from the Telangana State Public Service Commission clarified that in some centres it was brought to the notice of the Commission that A-series question paper had incorrect question numbers.

It said the same was replaced by the chief superintendents with spare question papers and the examination was completed peacefully. The OMR-based exam was conducted at 1,046 centres across the State.
