DSC exams postponed by two weeks

Will start from Dec. 24; hall tickets from Dec. 10
The District Selection Committee (DSC) 2018 exams have been postponed by two weeks.

The exams scheduled to start from December 6 will now be conducted from December 24 (Monday), according to the Education Department.

Sources said the exam dates had been pushed back following a plea by the aspirants who felt that the preparation time for the exam was much less. The exam notification was released on October 26 leaving candidates with only 41 days to gear up for the all-important exam.

Candidates can download hall tickets from December 10 from the department website.

Exams would be conducted for School Assistants (non-languages) on December 24, 26 and 27, School Assistants (languages) on December 28, Post Graduate Teacher on December 29, Trained Graduate Teacher and PET from December 30 to January 1, Principals, Music, Craft & Art and Drawing on January 2, Language Pundits on January 3 and Secondary Grade Teachers from January 18 to January 30.
