Motivational workshop for govt. school students

Over 1,890 students from over 100 schools attend
The National Institute of Technology, Warangal, conducted a motivational workshop exclusively for the students of government schools here, as part of its society outreach programme.

A total of 1,890 students from over 100 schools participated in the workshop, who were accompanied by about 200 guide teachers. The workshop was inaugurated by N.V. Ramana Rao, Director of NIT-Warangal.

DEO (Warangal) Narayana Reddy addressed the students as the guest of honour.

Senior professors B.V. Apparao, I.A.K. Reddy, Bangaaru Babu, Shiva Sarma, L.R.G. Reddy and Ravi Kumar delivered talks on the occasion.

Addressing the students, Prof. L.G.R. Reddy, Dean (Student Welfare) and principal coordinator of the workshop, said students should draw inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and grow up to become great citizens of the world.

In the afternoon session, students were taken on a campus tour, and were shown the laboratories in science and engineering departments.

At the valedictory session, both students and teachers said the workshop was of great help to them and wished to attend more such events in the future.
