10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 60% aggregate marks in all subjects or equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board.
Qualify in JEE (MAIN) examination (eligible to write the JEE Advanced 2018 exam) or rank upto 2,20,000.

A valid SAT Subject test Score (which should include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) – minimum 1800
In addition, a candidate has to undergo the counseling and branch allocation session of the college to qualify for the admission to the professional programme offered by the college.
Approved Scholarship norms w.e.f 2017-18 onwards for B.Tech Programme at MEC
Scholarships will be equally distributed for the 4 branches, namely 12 per branch, of which 11 will be based on JEE score and 1 will be based on SAT score (if no SAT person applies for a Scholarship, all will be based on JEE score).
The scholarship amount is Rs. 1, 00,000 per student per year.
Top 12 rankers in each branch will be entitled for the scholarship year on year when they are promoted to the next year.
Conditions like (a) No backlog and (b) Non-involvement in any untoward activity in the hostel / college premises are pre-requisites for eligibility.
The students of batch 2015-16 and 2016-17 have already been offered scholarship (as per previous policy). They will also be measured purely based on merit from 2017-18 onwards.
